In Isaiah 56 & 57, God's people are encouraged to get ready, watch, prepare, and worship in anticipation of Jesus. Jesus came, died, and rose again to free all of us from sin and condemnation. Condemnation and judgment is coming but if we choose to accept Jesus and His gift of salvation and let Him be Lord over our lives, we are free from it all. We are safe in the strong and mighty hands of God. God says in these verses that yes, Israel are his first chosen people, but all people - everyone - is included in this offer of salvation. A third Temple will be built and "it will be called a house of prayer for all nations." Jesus wants everyone to know how much He loves us. Every single one. Every nation. Every person. All. He will "restore the crushed spirit of the humble and revive the courage of those with repentant hearts." God sent a rescue mission - He sent us Jesus. Jesus is returning and all those who love Him with all their hearts, souls, and minds will receive abundant peace for all eternity.
