In Isaiah 58 & 59, God lets us know what He thinks of false worship and pretend fasting. God looks at the motivation behind our actions. He looks at our hearts. He wants real and true worship just because we love Him. He is God. He deserves our worship. He is seeking submissive salvation, true hearts after God who reflect His character, His values, His heart, and His desires. We need to always be ready to worship in ways we aren't used to and be ready for more because God continually wants to pour out and show us more of Him. He reminds us He is strong enough to save us and hears our calls. Sin and evil may be piling up around us, but we can choose Jesus. We can choose His righteousness, His salvation, and His passion. He is returning and His vengeance and judgment are coming. When we submissively accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, He will never leave us and we will be safe in His righteousness. His Word is true and eternal and His promises never fail. When we choose Jesus' team, we are safe for all eternity and get to experience life to the fullest on earth and forever after.
