In Jeremiah 16 & 17, Judgment for sin and refusal to repent is coming. God's children continually choose everything and anything except God so God will step back and let them have all they are choosing. He will remove His protection and judgment will fall. He still gives hope in the midst of His warnings and assures us there will be people who do choose God. They will be a part of the restoration as they stand firm in faith in God and God alone. They refuse to waiver or be shook and God will honor their faithfulness.
