In Leviticus 27, the importance of our vows and value of our words are shown. Our words and vows are demonstrated by doing, not talking. Our actions reveal our heart and show the sincerity of the vows we make. The action God took when He sent Jesus also shows His heart and character - His sincere love for His children. The entire book of Leviticus was fulfilled by Jesus on the cross. Jesus can, did, and does accomplish absolutely everything possible when He spilled His blood for us. He received our seven-fold curses so we could receive seven x seven-fold of blessings and righteousness. God provided a way for the Israelites to have their sins covered and atoned for so God could live with His people in peace at that time. Today, we can also be present with God every day. All we need to do is choose to say "yes" to the gift of His Son and the sacrifice He made on the cross for us so we could have eternal freedom from sin. God loves us beyond measure - He wants to be present with us in our days, hours, and moments.
