In Mark 6, Jesus and the disciples were setting out to get some rest and refreshment, but once again, the crowds followed. Jesus served with compassion and He continued to give them healing and taught about the Kingdom of God. Compassion leads to action. Evening came and with it came physical hunger. Rather than send them away to try to find food, Jesus asked the disciples, "How much bread do you have?" Jesus multiplied what they had available and fed everyone there, likely almost 20,000 people with all the women and children. Jesus asks us, "what do you have right in your hands?" Everything we have is given by Jesus. We are not manufactures of anything we have, we are distributors of all we have been given for God's glory. If we trust Him with our resources and steward them well for His great glory and His eternal Kingdom, He will multiply our resources. He will provide all that we need if we seek Him and His Kingdom first above all else. Look for potential opportunities He gives to extend His glory and focus on Jesus. Cling to Jesus through anything and everything that comes and testify of His great goodness to everyone you meet along the way.
