Matthew is the Bridge-Building Gospel of Jesus. He reveals the Kingship of Jesus and His holy authority over all that is, all that was, and all that will be. In Matthew 1, he details 3 sets of 14 generations that began with Jesus at creation and end with Jesus as our Messiah and Lord of all. Matthew focuses on the Kingdom of Jesus and includes women in his genealogical account, which was not common in his time and culture. He proves that Jesus came for all sinners, everyone, regardless of gender or race, Gentile or Jew. Matthew identified Jesus as the Son of David and the Son of God. 100% human and 100% God and gives a detailed account of His birth into our sinful world. Jesus came to earth for us. He loves us more than we can comprehend. His name means "Yahweh saves". He is Immanuel, He is with us and He wants us to choose to be with Him too. Yeshua, the great I AM, was born into earth, died a crushing death on the cross for each of us, and rose from that grave so we could have the option to choose to repent from sin and selfishness and choose Him for Life. He is King of kings and Lord of lords, it's up to us to choose to repent and humbly turn to Him entrusting our lives to Him - before it's too late.
