In Matthew 2, some Gentile wise men notice an unusual star and they realize it is the star noting the coming of the Messiah. They follow the supernatural star and it leads them right to Jesus, our Messiah, who was born in Bethlehem. Satan, through Herod, gets angry and wants Him destroyed so God sends a message to Joseph in a dream. They escape to Egypt where they are safe from Herod's evil hand. When it is safe, God again sends message and Joseph returns to Israel, but this time God sends them to Nazareth. Jesus has just arrived on earth in human form and is already fulfilling prophesy after prophesy. Joseph obeyed God's direction as God brings forth His love-plan of redemption for all mankind, Yeshua - our Savior. Jesus will speak to us and direct our steps if we are willing to listen and hear His voice. We have to know His Word to know His voice. Joseph moved by faith because he was wholeheartedly devoted to the Lord. God wants us to know Him, experience Him, and continue to fall more and more in love with Him. When we truly experience the presence of the Lord, He fills us with unspeakable joy and peace. Keep pursuing Jesus with all your guts, heart and soul. His presence is better than anything this world will ever offer. Nothing compares to Jesus.
