In Matthew 21, Jesus fulfills the prophesy of Isaiah 62:11 and Zechariah 9:9. Because two of His disciples were obedient, listened to His voice and obeyed His Word, prophesy was fulfilled. They trusted His voice and obediently walked out His instruction. They gave everything up proclaiming the Name of Jesus and the city was shaken for Jesus. The act of faithful obedience to the Lord prepared the way for King Jesus. King Jesus came riding on a donkey in humility and will be returning on a white horse. He had all authority then, He has all authority now, and He will have all authority forever. He is King. We are not to be shaken by the world around us, we are called and commissioned to spread the Gospel message of Jesus and His offer of salvation and shake the world around us for Jesus. He is returning and He has commissioned us to prepare the way.
