In Matthew 24, the disciples asked Jesus what the sign would be for His return. Jesus gives a brief overview of the revelation He gives John later on. He says to watch, beware, and be ready because Jesus will return at any time. He said the persecution, lawlessness, division, hatred, betrayal, false messiahs, false prophets, wars, rumors of wars, famines, earthquakes, nations rising against nation, kingdom against kingdom, and love growing cold among people are only the beginning birth pains of what is to come. Jesus assures us we do not live in a spirit of fear, but of comfort, strength, and unwavering faith knowing it all just means our King of kind and Lord of all - our Messiah - is returning sooner today than yesterday. It's time more than ever to stop worshiping the false god called "me", repent, and turn to Jesus. Like the days of Noah, you can choose to swim on your own thinking you are a great swimmer worshiping yourself, or you can choose to repent, yield humbly to Jesus, and be held safely in His Ark through the coming hell-storm on earth. The Bridegroom is coming and He is returning for a Bride ready, watching, and madly in love with Him.
