Description

In Nehemiah 3, the mission is moving. God's people are working and the wall is being built and the gates repaired. It was all done for God's great glory. Everyone had a different part and piece in the project and everyone did their part. The gates being repaired are all noted, beginning and ending with the Sheep Gate. Jesus is the perfect Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world and everything begins and ends with Him. He is the beginning and the end. The Valley Gate is mentioned, then the Dung Gate, and the Fountain Gate. Spiritually speaking, we move from humbly submitting to God repentance at the Valley Gate, we are sanctified and cleansed as the dung in our lives is removed at the Dung Gate, and we are filled with the Spirit of God at the Fountain Gate. Just like the repairing of the wall and gates, it could not have been accomplished by one person. It took a team, it whole lot of people all choosing to be "all in" for the mission. The mission of spreading the Gospel to the nations is for all of us. God wants His Kingdom full and that means we need to be all in. We need to be intentional and work together to finish the work - all for the great glory of God.
