Description

In Numbers 15, the sacrifices needed for the day they enter the Promised Land are reviewed. God says "when" they enter, not "if" they enter. God is faithful to His will, even when we ourselves are faithless. The next generation will see the Promised Land. Regret does not equal repentance. Repentance is a heart change and the current generation has not experienced a heart change. For 40 years, a whole generation will do nothing. They will walk without the Spirit of God. Their hearts remain proud and unchanged rather than humble and obedient to their God - their rescuer. They will be dry and fruitless. We are reminded in this chapter to work for the Lord in all we do every day. Work as though we are working for God Himself and be fueled by the Holy Spirit as we do the work. God wants our fellowship, love, and friendship in all our moments. He's a good, good Father.
