In Psalms 144, 145, 146, & 147, the psalmists encourage us to to praise the Lord and worship Him heart and soul. God is mighty and delivers us victoriously. He cares for us personally and graciously blesses us, even though we truly don't deserve it. No matter what is going on around us, we can choose to praise the Lord. He is all-wise, infinite, sovereign, holy, omniscient, faithful, unchanging, eternal, self-sufficient, self-existent, omnipresent, omnipotent, good, just, merciful, loving, holy, and transcendent. He is ALL - everything. And He loves you and me and wants to care for us. He wants us to know Him, experience Him, and passionately pursue Him throughout every day. We worship something or someone whether we realize it or not. It's up to us to choose to intentional worship the Lord with all our guts - heart and soul.
