In Psalm 15, 16, & 17, David outlines the patterns of the Lord passionately and sincerely and how living blamelessly, pursuing God's holiness, living the Word of God from our hearts no matter the cost, not speaking ill of others or telling lies, reverently fearing and standing in awe of God, not taking advantage of others for selfish gains or bribes will result in living a righteous life in the honor and glory of the Lord. When Jesus is the foundation of our very soul, we cannot be shook and will stand firm and finish well - all for God's great glory. David gave us a great example of how to seek God's presence constantly, obey God, and trust God wholeheartedly. God was God over all of his life. He let God examine him and reveal anything needing repentance of and repented quickly. He trusted God for His protection and His rescue. He loved God - heart and soul - with all his guts. We can all make the choice to follow David's great example and let Jesus move in and through our lives as we fall more and more passionately in love with Him.
