In Psalm 96, 97, & 98, the emphasis of the psalmists is royalty - Jesus is the King of the earth. Jesus is our Salvation and our Life. He came and sacrificed His life on earth so we could receive His Life for eternity. That should be something we sing about and joyfully proclaim every day with every breath in us. We sing praise to Him, we worship Him, and we give Him all glory because He is so amazingly good and we love Him heart and soul. We rejoice because we know He is returning - sooner today than yesterday. We are to live every moment as though He may come in the next 10 seconds, because He may. He is worthy of all praise and honor and glory and He is coming! He is on the Throne and He is victorious over the enemy. Because we are His, we claim that victory in our lives and move forward faithfully confident in Him and who He is. He is our Savior and King. When He returns, He will put an end to the cruelty, the evil, and all the junk the current world holds. If we have made the decision to repent of our selfishness and submit our lives to Jesus, we are a part of His eternal Kingdom. If you haven't, there's no time like now. Joy to the World, He is coming! There's no time like "now" time to turn your life over to Him and pursue Jesus with all your guts - heart and soul.
