Song of Songs is a love song of devotion as a couple takes us through the process of potential courtship, the courtship process, the wedding, and marriage. In Song of Songs 1, the Shulamite woman and Solomon sing a song of excited anticipation for potential courtship. Song of Songs is a beautiful picture that portrays the love of a bride and her bridegroom. It's also a greater picture of the Church and our coming Bridegroom. The woman expresses her concern for not being good enough and Solomon quickly assures her she is stunning just as she is. Jesus loves us just as we are. He sees you. He sees you as perfect in His image. He sees you as precious in His sight. He understands you. He knows your strengths and weaknesses. He seeks each of us out and pursues us longing to draw us into His great eternal love. He wants us to truly see His great love for each and every one of us. He will hide us under the shadow of His wings and cover us with His protective feathers. He is our peace. He is true life. He is our faithful helper through everything. We are desired and wanted by Jesus. You are loved with an everlasting eternal love and are and always will be God's beloved in His eyes. It's up to us to say "yes" to His proposal of eternal life and be a part of His Kingdom forever.
