In Zechariah 4, God gives Zechariah a vision of a lampstand with two olive trees on each side. The olive trees would fill a bowl with oil that would be piped by 49 pipes to keep each of the golden lamps full and burning. We are to remain plugged into Jesus and keep the oil of the Holy Spirit full and burning in our lives by spending time with God in prayer and in His Word. When our lamps are full, we can radiate His amazing powerful life-changing glory to those around us. We are called to extend God's Light to those around us and keep each other encouraged and enflamed for Christ in the process. Only work done through the power of the Spirit will glorify God and endure the coming fires of His judgment. God is glorified in the small things and uses them to accomplish His mighty plan and will. "It is not by force nor by strength, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of Heaven's Armies." We have an amazingly great God who empowers and blesses servants who are wholly dedicated to Him. He cleanses us and empowers us so we need to trust Him and do His work for His plan and His glory. Lord Jesus, may your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Amen
