In Zephaniah 3, God sends a message of hope letting us know we can be patient and rest assured that evil will be taken care of. This is all temporary. Jesus is returning and He will bind sin and remove all pride and arrogance. He doesn't want to lose a single soul and if we choose Jesus, we will be safe in His arms when judgment falls. Our sins have already been judged by Jesus. With His great love, He calms all our fears and rejoices over us with joyful songs. In the "wait", we are called and commissioned to spread the Good News of Jesus to the people around us because God wants everyone to choose Him for their lives and be safe for eternity. We are to bring heaven to earth by our living the Word out through our daily lives, pray and intercede for the lost. Don't fall for the enemies temptations to live divided and be destroyed. Jesus said the world will know us by our love and unity. Opinions don't matter, clothes don't matter, how much money is in the bank doesn't matter - all that matters is that people see, hear, and know Jesus. It's a matter of life and death.
