It's so important for us to assess our motives for showing up.
Is it for the likes, hearts, and comments? Is it so we can feel validated by others?
A good way to test our motives is to pause, reflect, and check ourselves when we have a lot of engagement on something we share versus when there's not as much. Do we feel some kind of way in those situations? I am constantly checking myself because I realized that my attitude and motivations were being swayed at times based on the comments of others.
How can we stay in a place of pure motives? Be renewed and transformed daily.
Romans 12:2 "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect."
