Dustin Riedesel is an author, recovered addict, leukemia survivor, a loving father, and husband. After recovering from cancer treatment, he began his running journey while concurrently working towards sobriety. Since then he’s ran three marathons, transformed his outlook on life, and recently published his latest book ‘Looks Like We're Running: An Amateur's Companion to Becoming a Marathoner’

In this episode, Dustin shares the mental framework he uses when setting goals as well as how he views running as a metaphor for life. We discuss Dustin's journey battling Leukemia, how he writes his books, and our shared love for reading.
