The world class singer Beyoncé thought of her persona as an ‘alter ego’ character she conjured every time she performed, and gave this spirit a name: Sasha Fierce. Normally shy and reserved in real life, when she was onstage she became that character that channeled the music, one that was bold, confident, and big. Kobe Bryant became The Black Mamba to tap into his killer instinct on the basketball court.
What 'your best self through drumming' means to you, can be ANYTHING you dream of to gift into the world. Just like Beyoncé and Kobe, you can manifest any trait you like. Like a comic book superhero, we can unlock dormant powers that reinvent who we once were, creating an alter ego of our best selves with a courage to step into it whenever summoned.
