Hey Shelvies! In this week’s episode, we meet Cliff Lewis, a debut author whose climate-themed MG book brings time travel and science together. Ever since a young Cliff Lewis played Power Rangers in the playground with his friends, he’s had a love for story. He’s also had a love for weird things, which he defines as “quirky, in a Kate Bush sort of way.” When he started writing, he knew he wanted to incorporate some of that quirkiness into his story--that’s where the Lanthorns come in. But he also added some “wild” into it, in the form of a deep-space planet and the fantastic town of Londonshire. And what resulted was a Wild, Weird, and Wonderful Cliff Lewis shelved story, which all the hosts now want to read!
