In the modern era, many are saying that the second coming of Christ has already occurred. They say the second coming has already taken place mystically or spiritually in a way that the ancients did not comprehend or articulate well in their ancient writings. Many are heard saying, that there are no magical beings coming from the sky to save us, and that we must save ourselves. Is this modern interpretation of Christ's second coming correct?
