In this episode Tay discusses the case of Kate Webster and the gruesome murder of her employer Mrs. Julia Martha Thomas. Webster was a career criminal and childhood thief who after getting out of jail took a position as Thomas' maid in March of 1879. Within the month she was fired and instead of leaving as asked she stayed and waited for her former employer to return home to kill her.
