Rio Hondo Prep improved to 5-0 with a 53-20 victory over Savanna HS down in Orange County for their Week 5 matchup. Junior Captain Armando Carbajal led the way for the Kares with 3 touchdown passes, 2 touchdown runs, and a 70 yard interception return for a touchdown. It was a physical game for Rio who will finally return home this Friday for Homecoming against Glendale HS. Head Coach Mark Carson recaps the big road win and gives his thoughts on his team overall at the midpoint of the season.
