Growing up in Anchorage, Alaska, Brian was introduced to the world of craft coffee at a young age, and developed a passion for sourcing and exploring different types of coffee from around the globe. After attending college and starting a corporate job in Rhode Island, Brian realized that his 9-5 lifestyle wasn't for him and turned to the film industry as a freelance lighting technician. However, the lack of quality coffee in the region led him to begin home-roasting in 2010 and eventually start his own coffee company, Borealis Coffee, to share his delicious roasts with film crews and coffee enthusiasts alike.
