Alan Dovey is the Clinical Director of Working Minds UK, and started working with large organisations back in the year 2000 when he took on lead psychological therapist to West Midlands Fire Service, West Midlands Police Service and Jaguar Land Rover
He has over 30 years experience of working in predominantly male organisations and has a specialist interest in the evolutionary aspect of mental health, neuroscience, cognitive behavioural factors that maintain depression and occupational burnout.
He has published widely in mental health and spoken at Conferences around the world on various topics.
He is Accredited Consultant Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist and Senior Lecturer School of Health Science and Well-being University of Staffordshire.
