XTREME! AWESOME! Those are just a couple of the words to describe comics in the 90s. Join us on our continuing series of comic books through the decades as we jump in with our JNCO jeans and brightly colored fanny packs. Death of Superman, The Man Who broke the Bat, and the crazy mercenary that had horribly drawn feet join the fold as Image and independent publishers dominated the comic book landscape. We discuss some of the biggest events of the time and how a failed attempt for Jim Shooter to buy Marvel led to the creation of Valiant comics and so much more. Join us as we chat about the rise of Trade Paperbacks, Variant Covers, and how every gimmick that arose in the 90s has made its way back into mainstream comics today.
