I love traditional archery. But I almost hate the term "Traditional Archery". Although the "trad" world is very open, accepting and helpful, there is definitely a subset of the genre that we refer to as the "Trad Police". Sights? Never! Aiming using your arrow? How dare you! Bareshaft tuning? Why would you want to do that? Don't you have feathers?
Personally, I'm tired of listening to crusty old crumudgeons telling new shooter (who actually want to HIT what they're aiming at) that they're not "trad" enough. It's not a total bash session, but this episode delves into things I've had on my mind for a while now.
