Listen

Description

Welcome to our second episode and we are delighted to speak with the amazing James Elliott. If you don't know who James is then have a good listen and pick your jaw up off the floor. James has an incredible story to tell following a 14-year career in the army having finished his career as the second in command of all the British Army's mental resilience delivery.

He decided to leave and pursue a career in mental resilience and performance coaching. An accredited psychotherapist, working with veterans to help them find their way he works with elite performance athletes including gold medalists, special forces and rugby players to CEOs, senior members of the Ministry of Defence and shop floor workers. On top of all of this, he has 2 Guinness world records for feats of endurance!

In this fascinating chat, James tells us his personal story, all things resilience and how we can go from surviving to thriving. How do we change those learnt behaviours that hold us back and ultimately lead to adverse mental health? How often do you hold that mirror up to yourself and understand your own behaviour? There is plenty to take from this conversation for your own personal growth and something we will definitely be revisiting with James again in the future.

We hope you enjoy this and welcome any feedback, please remember to rate and subscribe for future episodes.
