It was great to have Ali back behind the podcast mic today. This week we have a really intersting chat with Dr Jason Chan. We talked about attachment styles, the impact of childhood experiences on emotional wellbeing and growth, recovery from major trauma and mind-body connection… and there is a thread of spirituality throughout. We hope you enjoy it.
Dr Jason Chan, is a clinical psychologist with a special interest in adult mental health, looking through the lens that focuses on the purpose or growth made possible by mental health crises and general life struggles.
Jason is the clinical director and co-founder of Zenith Psychology, a private mental health service provider and a growing network of mental health professionals with a core ethos of making growth, beyond well-being and adjustment, the objectives of any work with individuals and organisations.
Outside his private practice, he has led multiple psychological services for patients with long-term heart and lung conditions and traumatic brain injuries within the NHS. Jason is also a practising neuropsychologist and promotes an integration of knowledge on neurocognitive (brain) and emotional (mind) disorders in the complex journey of rehabilitation from brain injuries.
