Back to school can be a crazy and stressful time for both us as moms and the kids. Getting back into the routine takes some prep for an easy transition.
Set the intention for the school year- Both of you
Be prepared: get organized! prep breakfast, lunches, have outfits picked out, be early
Be prepared for a crazy first week back- go with the flow you're getting back into a routine, so go with an open mind and be prepared for those crazy car lines
Set after school routine
Get your planner out and update with important dates
Separation anxiety- Draw a heart on each of your hands and tell them to look at it and know mama is thinking of you.
Or take a little memento with them at school- a bracelet, special pen, a bow, etc to give hem that extra boost of confidence
Overall enjoy it and take it all in- first day is always hectic but take a moment with your kids and give thanks, say a prayer and give them the encouragement that its going to be a great year!
