Lucie’s story involves a devastating netball injury that became much worse than she could ever have believed. This, and Invictus, set Lucie on a very different path to the one she had imagined for herself. But now, as a full-time mum, NHS worker and athlete, her vision of the future is even more glittering than ever with a prospective Paralympics on the horizon. Lucie speaks about how to find that balance in life, how to be selfish and put yourself first sometimes and how age should never deter you from getting involved in sport and finding your passion.
