Episode 9: Virtual Party - Foundry VTT with The Crowned DM
This week we dive into Foundry VTT with our guest The Crowned DM. We spend some time getting to know The Crowned DM and learning about the multiple games he runs on Twitch. He discusses how he found the game of D&D, his regret for not getting involved earlier, why he doesn't use old characters as NPCs, and why he suggests newer DMs should start with modules. Foundry VTT is a one-time purchase of $50 that allows you to set up a personal server to run your games on. This can alleviate issues that other VTTs have with becoming overloaded and not running well. Its many features and add-on modules make the tabletop versatile and useful for most any genre of game. We round out the episode by inflicting some psychic damage with our 5 Questions in 60 Seconds segment.
