Back in 2020, I worked for Zero Emission Services (ZES) for more than a year. ZES was born to transform the inland shipping sector: from greenhouse gas polluter to emission free & noise free shipping leader. During this period, I was fortunate to get to know Janneke ‘t Hart, a Sustainability Communication Expert. She taught me about the value of communication to make real system changes happening. Also she introduced me into the world of Green Circles. This is a collaboration methodology where governmental bodies, knowledge institutions, social - and business organizations work together to accelerate sustainable solutions. I became so in love with the concept of sustainable co-creation that, last year, I started my own company to focus on just that.
