Crime novels are just one aspect of Max Allan Collins’ long multimedia career. In addition to many books, Collins’ career has included making movies, creating graphic novels and working on several of the most successful comic books.
Collins also became a friend of the legendary crime novelist Mickey Spillane and worked on some of that writer’s unfinished novels when he died in 2006.
Recently Max returned to his popular Nolan series which he moved away from for several decades.
