On October 11th, I walked the virtual stage to earn a B.A. in Criminal & Social Justice. The reason I went back to school was driven by a young student that needed support after losing their scholarship due to teen pregnancy. As I spent over a year closing out my classes, I realized the importance of the journey I was on even from a educational and leadership development standpoint.
