Today’s guest is John Katsavos. John has been a personal trainer for 13 years and been in and out of the martial arts world for the past 30 years. After battling with depression and isolation and a brief thought of attempting suicide in his mid twenties, he knew he had to change. He started doing little things and over time (20 years) he has developed a system that helps people control depression through exercise, healthy eating, and martial arts hacks in a holistic manner.

I was also recently a guest on John’s podcast, The Fitness Oracle, and it was great to flip the script to get to know more about him and his experiences. 

John shares insight into his own experiences with fear, depression & anxiety and how fitness has helped him move through these emotions + lessons he has learned along the way that we can all apply to our lives--right away!
