We note some notable examples of successes and failures within the AAA video game industry, why they were potentially deemed a success or failure in terms of budgets, sales numbers and to compare them to previous games in the series in the case of sequels.
We also talk about the sales numbers of some very notable indie games, and whether this is a reflection of a growing disapproval or dissatisfaction of the AAA gaming industry as a whole.
