Today I had the amazing opportunity to interview Ray Atkinson from Avalon Memory Care here in #cedarpark. We sat down and talked about so many different aspects of care when memory becomes a new factor during elderly care.

Avalon Memory Care was founded in 1995 by Richard Seib and Dr. Dan Griff. Richard was involved in a ministry that reached out to the elderly population at their local church. Instead of focusing on just the medical care, Richard wanted to see a more palliative and home-styled approach that focused on the residents’ overall well-being and quality of life.
