Dr Maree Toombs has lead an extraordinary life. From dropping out of high school and falling pregnant as a teenager to becoming a highly respected Professor and Deputy Dean. Her never ending advocacy for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people is exemplary and a credit to her mob. She is fierce, she’s determined, she’s passionate and kind. Maree was never destined to be ordinary.
