Sit with me as we hear from Ralph Sara. Ralph is the host of The Anonymous Eskimo Recovery Podcast, he is also a person in long term recovery. Ralph shares his journey of recovery and what it used to be like, what happened that lead him into recovery, and what he is doing now to stay sober.   Ralph speaks about generational trauma in his family as well as withing the indigenous community. Ralph speaks about being a going to college and how his addiction to alcohol took over. He speaks to the multiple run-ins with the law and how this last time led him into recovery. Ralph speaks about the affect his addiction had on not only him, but his family and his community.

Ralph goes on to talk about how his recovery program saved his life and how it has changed since he's been sober for over 2 years now. Ralph speaks about the shame and guilt he felt early in recovery and what happened to change that. He speaks about being a sober musician and how he is able to play in bars and around people who are drinking and not be triggered. Ralphs story is simply amazing and I am so grateful to have had him as a guest on my show. Enjoy!!!
