Education professionals are in the “thick” of beginning the school year. It has been busy for many whether teaching in person, remotely, or virtually. Parallel to this conversation is the formation of learning pods for families and communities striving to provide options for students in the midst of a pandemic.
In August, I interviewed Loren Heinbach, COO of Selected to discuss the development of learning pods across the United States. Selected is an organization focused on connecting high quality educators with schools and families. Loren is a former public school teacher and Teach for America operations director and teacher coach. She is passionate about helping teachers put their best foot forward as they position themselves for a new role.
