Description

In this week's episode we're so excited to be speaking with Dr Joe Boot of the Ezra Institute.  Freshly repatriated from Canada, Joe is eager to bring all that has to serve the UK Church and is starting an exciting new chapter in ministry.  No stranger to the UK, Joe has been a contributer to Christian Concern's Wilberforce Academy for many years and has written and spoken much into the UK Church context specifically, as well as on theology, culture, and apologetics more broadly.  His latest book, Ruler of Kings, is now available to buy.  Our conversation covers several important areas such as:  Does our call to engage in the world extend beyond evangelism? Is "abortion" a political issue or a religious issue? Should Christians get involved in politics? What do we make of Trump? What's the difference between evangelism and evangelisation? Should we respond to abortion "the American way"? Are theocracies so bad after all? Does the sacred/secular divide exist? Why is the UK Church so quiet about abortion?  We hope you enjoy and benefit from this conversation as much as we did.
