Welcome to, Trust The Process, Piece By Piece.
The main takeaways from this episode are:
- Get Your Feet on Solid Ground (asap) - Physically grounding neurologically wires us to feel more calm by centring our nervous systems and physiologically bringing balance into the body and mind.
- Bring a Habit or Ritual Along with You - Detaching from how our routines normally look, extract aspects from your daily routines that keep you balanced and centred and prioritise them while you’re away. Being open to these rituals fluctuating is what keeps that sense of grounded-ness anchored deep within, wherever we are, and engrains them deeper into our quotidian, too.
- Take an Aspect of Home on Your Journey - Whether a physical aspect of Home ; (a piece from your altar, an important talisman e.g. a crystal/prayer beads, a meditation cushion/device, a hot water bottle! etc.) a symbolic aspect (cooking in your air b’n’b, and setting the intention to buy groceries and cook at least once during your trip, for instance.
Above all, BE intentional; give yourself and your practices GRACE; prioritise the things that make you feel GOOD, from the inside-out, so that you can feel your best internally, and not superficially.
