When we have a service to dedicate our baby to the Lord, we are saying that we will do everything in our power so that baby will live a life that brings glory to God. Pastor Matt points out that this service is more for the parents, reminding us that if our baby is going to live a life for the Lord, we need to lead by example and dedicate our lives to serving the Lord.
