Greatness Defined.

Not sure there is much else to discuss other than the loss of an indomitable human being this past Sunday.

Bill Russell walked it like he talked it.

Period.

Proud.

Black.

Man.

His greatness can’t and won’t be truncated in these bars here.

This is but an acknowledgment… an homage to the benchmark of basketball greatness and immortality at every level, on and off the court.

With all respect due to Wall $t’s special guest Full Court 21 Canada Las YEGas (aka Edmonton) titlist Keenen “King” Caribou, who will chat on his career path toward ultimate greatness and the challenge that will be the All Canadian Final August 20, the News, Views and Truths that you choose on the NBA and beyond start and end with the Old Lion who won 2 high school titles, 2 NCAA crowns at a lightly regarded university, an Olympic gold medal then 11 NBA championships in 13 seasons, including 8 in a row.

Having The Medal Of Freedom bestowed upon him by someone he may have not been certain he’d even see in his lifetime: a Black President of the United States, is an accolade for his off-court contributions toward justice, equality, respect and opportunity for others who looked like him and we oft denied chances to be great contributing members of society.

All of this, the WNBA Power 5, Association machinations and more on The Open Run With Will Strickland.
