Description

This week I had the chance to sit down with Jawad and learnt quite a lot about the Middle East.

Jawad grew up in Saudi and Lebanon where he started a small real estate business which provides him capital to travel and explore other passion such as acting and film. We discuss some of the issues that Lebanon currently is experiencing such as brain drain and also the Arab spring, the hierarchy of countries in the Middle East. Jawad also acted in a couple of commercials in Lebanon and a short movie about PTSD that was screened at Cannes - Soldier 888 which you can see here- https://vimeo.com/124301093

We also talk about Sectarianism, Palestine and March of Return and Airbnb controversy with listing settlements in the West Bank
