Erik and D.J. are back this week and we kick off the episode by talking about the week in iRacing, first D.J.'s (brief) surprise appearance on Tuesday's Behind Closed Doors series at his arch-enemy track of Laguna Seca and then the struggles we both had on Wednesday Night Dash at Watkins Glen. There's a lot to discuss and review after a bad week.
Next, we move on and discuss IndyCar silly season with the announcement of Marcus Ericsson moving to Andretti, where David Malukas will end up, and other driver shifts for all teams not named Penske. The tracker posted on Reddit showed subtle references to the 2001 movie, Driven.
If you haven't seen the Stallone and Burt Reynolds movie, you should because it is hilariously bad. We discuss the references and inspiration of the FedEx CART Series in making this super cheesy movie. We close out the segment discussing other racing movies including Days of Thunder and Talladega Nights.
Finally, we close out the show by talking a little NASCAR at Daytona and last week's race at Watkins Glen.
