Shaan has over 20 years of experience in real world domestic violence homicides and has some incredible insights in how we can make some simple changes in our everyday relationships that could potentially save a life.
Shaan has a history of working in the prison system in Queensland, and now devotes her time to preventing violence against women, children and other marginalised groups.
During this episode Shaan talks about the ways in which a relationship can go from healthy, to unhealthy to abusive and provides some useful tips for us men on how to not only show up for our partners, but how to show up for our mates too.
Shaan also shares her own fertility journey, the struggles she faced entering parenthood and the ways in which she now parents her three young children.
