This interview is proof that God places people in your life when you need them most. I met Janee' through a professional organization we were active in during the pandemic. I expressed my interest in wanting to publish a coffee table book. One DM and 15 months later and Janee's company, Open Book Publishing, is helping me to publish and promote the said book. The story is unique because Janee and I had so many intersectionalities that it felt like destiny to work together. Janee' left her full-time job this past fall to run Open Book Publishing. We talk about how that journey has shaped her thinking and what self-care looks like as an entrepreneur.
